CLUB’S HISTORY
The Hills Pumas Football Club was established in 1999 by a group of Year 9 students from Pacific Hills Christian School. Since its humble beginnings, the club has grown to feature multiple teams competing in the local Hills Football competition, with matches held on Saturday mornings between April and August.
Our home ground, Les Shore Reserve in Glenorie, serves as a vibrant hub for the club’s growth, welcoming a diverse community of players and families from across the Hills District.
At Hills Pumas, we are committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone. We celebrate diversity and strive to ensure that all individuals, regardless of age, gender, ability, cultural background or socioeconomic status, have the opportunity to participate and feel valued.
We believe football is a sport for everyone and are dedicated to fostering respect, equality and a sense of belonging both on and off the field.
“Our aim is to provide an organised and safe environment for team sports, to develop strong personal and sporting values for every player, parent and club member”
The Hills Pumas Football Club would like to acknowledge the Darug People as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our home ground, Les Shore Reserve, is located. We pay our respects to their Elders, past and present, as well as to the Aboriginal Elders from other communities who may attend our fields or events.
